> Intelligence that understands how humans feel and think. An X-ray for the human psyche.

That intelligence is here to help us get really, really good at being human. tealTools, Inc. was founded in April 2024 in Palo Alto, California, by Sasha Anikin. A US provisional patent application, "Computing technologies for convergent projection operators with outcome-derived reward decomposition and latent state estimation", application 64/045,606, was filed on 2026-04-21, naming Sasha Anikin as the inventor.

Our mission is to nurture the culture of self-understanding.

Language models understand the symbolic world. World models understand the physical world. Every lab builds one of the two to make human work faster or to replace it. As the models take over more of that work, people are pushed out and ask what is theirs to do next. The problem is centuries old. The models made it impossible to ignore.

When work no longer defines us, the energy that went into it has to go somewhere. Nobody knows where yet. Wherever it goes, the road runs through meaning, and finding meaning begins with understanding oneself. The search turns inward.

The inner world of a human is the one world no model understands yet.

We start from what humanity already knows – about 100 instruments, built over centuries, for understanding oneself and one another. We use them the way Röntgen used X-rays: to see inside a structure without knowing its composition.
